The “Star Wars 8” director explains that he had already spoken to “The Mandalorian” mastermind Dave Filoni about his potential as a director.

All “Star Wars” fans who would rather not see Rian Johnson direct “The Mandalorian” can rest assured: the streaming service Netflix recently made breathtaking $ 469 million for the sequels “Knives Out 2 + 3”.
