Even if you’ve never played a Call of Duty, you’re probably familiar with Operator Ghost’s skull mask – after all, he’s constantly emblazoned on promotional material for the shooters. He also has an appearance in the new CoD Modern Warfare 2, but for many only in the single player campaign. If you also want to slip into his robe in multiplayer, you have to pay 100 dollars for the “Vault” pre-order edition.
Best-known operator only as a pre-order bonus?
Together with three other important CoD characters, he is in the pre-order-exclusive “Red Task Force 141” bundle, which contains the following characters as multiplayer skins:
- Ghost (Modern Warfare Series)
- Captain Price (Modern Warfare series)
- Soap (Modern Warfare Series)
- Farah (Modern Warfare 2019)
Wait a minute, what’s Farah doing on Team 141 and where’s Gaz? We’ll probably only find out after we’ve played the story campaign. For your optimal preparation, we have summarized what you should know beforehand:

CoD Modern Warfare 2: Unser Story-Recap
You can unlock all other announced operators in single player, multiplayer and challenges (except Oni, who is exclusive to PlayStation). The skins do not offer a playful advantage, all operators play the same. But of course some fans still want to be on the road as their favorite character. It’s no wonder considering Price’s impressive beard.
We asked Activision if there will be ways later that unlock four iconic operators in a different way, maybe in the usual Battle Pass. The bundle does look like special skins to us, presumably the “normal” versions of the operators will just come out later. If we get an answer from the developers, we will of course add it to the article right away.

New trailer for CoD Modern Warfare 2 is stuffed to the brim with celebrities
What do you think about that? Are you completely indifferent to character skins in multiplayer, or would you like access to all available skins without having to pre-order?
