If you like the look of the upcoming Astro Bot game that was recently shown off during Sony’s State of Play livestream, then you’ll be happy to learn about some of the features that are (or may not be) included as revealed on the official PlayStation website. The highlight of the bunch is that Astro Bot will include over 150 classic PlayStation characters.
These cameos come in the form of cute little costumes for the various AStro Bots you encounter during your PlayStation Celebration journey. The game is also purely single-player and very similar to the original Astro Bot experience that came with the PS5, so it will be a lovely little single-player game for owners of the PlayStation 5. The PlayStation website also lists various new screenshots and galleries from the game, which you can check out if you’re interested.
While the recent State of Play showcase received mixed reviews, with various audiences wishing for more from the event, Astro Bot was undoubtedly one of the highlights of the showcase. It will be released later this year on September 6th.
