Delta Force: Hawk Ops is changing its name and is now simply called Delta Force. And the new trailer from gamescom is really getting down to business: a modern military setting with tanks, helicopters and infantry, collapsing buildings and tactical use of class gadgets – this is clearly an attack on Battlefield! The video combines scenes from the 64-player multiplayer Havoc Warfare with Hazard Ops, an extraction mode in the style of Escape from Tarkov. A story campaign based on the Black Hawk Down incident in 1993 in Somalia will also follow at a later date. Early access is not far away now: it is scheduled to launch on PC in the fourth quarter of 2024. The Delta Force alpha will probably continue until the beginning of September.
