The Disney Lorcana Playing and Trading Card Game returns with its 4th expansion. There are changes in the air that will add more spice to your games.
Playing and trading card games (TCG) are coming back to the fore. While Pokémon, one of the leaders of the genre, highlights its collections through an animated series, it was Disney that caused a stir last year with its own license created in collaboration with Ravensburger: Lorcana ! Your favorite heroes from the Walt Disney Pictures animated films face off in strategic and magical battles. The goal? Be the first to collect 20 Lore Points to win the game.
If you’ve heard little or nothing about Lorcana, it’s no surprise. Unlike its productions, which are designed to be huge box office hits, Disney is targeting a niche market here. Of course, fans are flocking to the new cards. But even those who actually play TCG games are interested in the phenomenon. Because Lorcana isn’t just a money-making machine, it’s a real game latest extension
Disney Lorcana Chapter 4 is a revival
The new Disney Lorcana card expansion is a real breath of fresh air! Firstly, “The return of Ursula” obviously adds new characters and different appearances and powers for existing ones. We see Princess Anna from Frozen donning her armor to head to the front lines. Keep an eye on the Mulan cards too, as there are some very rare ones there.
But what will really shake things up is the new game mode. Now, with Chapter 4, Lorcana opens up to PvE with “.The search for the enlighteners“. This “quest” is offered in the form of a special box. This mode can be played alone or in cooperation to defeat Ursula in an even more challenging match.
Lorcana returns, as expected, with 204 new cards. Also expect PvE-specific cards. As always, the expansion comes in the form of a booster with random cards and decks whose content does not change.
