Wanted: Dead, the shooter from the Ninja Gaiden team, uses this end of the year to share an explosive trailer with us.
Big guns, katana swings and blood splatters are the order of the day Wanted dead, an action game that blends hand-to-hand combat with a more traditional third-person shooter. The title rides the wave of end-of-the-year celebrations to blow it all up in a new trailer that’s as explosive as it is unconventional.
Wanted: Dead takes up arms and plays Ninja Gaiden
From developers who cut their teeth on Team Ninja’s Ninja Gaiden series, Wanted dead is expected for February 14, 2023 on PS5, Xbox Series, PC, PS4 and Xbox One. We embody Hannah Stone, a police lieutenant with particularly quick methods, who generally prefers to shoot and butcher than calmly discuss and question. The latter, accompanied by her entire broken-arms unit as mad as she is, will investigate a full-scale conspiracy involving the Hong Kong underworld and more. Mafia, combos, explosions, big mechas and even a cat are on the program.
Juggling between TPS firing phases, a cover system, and multiple different weapons and katana combat, the game is meant to be edgy and gory, albeit a lot less than one Ninja Gaiden. Also, today he reveals to us a whole new facet of his gameplay with totally WTF sequences embedded with rhythmic minigames, whether you’re in front of a bowl of noodles or in the middle of a dancing karaoke session. Wanted dead should therefore rely on the second degree and offer completely unusual situations. Judgment in a few weeks.
