Long remained a popular hit in Japanese, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure is one of the most famous manga in the world today. An exhibition offered in particular thanks to the animated adaptation of the 2010s by David Productions, which made it possible to discover the work of Hirohiko Araki for everyone. Whatever it isone of the oldest manga still published
But since 2005, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure has moved from Weekly Shonen Jump to Ultra Jump, a monthly magazine that gives the author more time to produce chapters. If you are reading the work you are obviously aware of this, but for others you know this The manga is divided into several parts in which we (mostly) follow a member of the Joestar family. Thanks to this way of organizing his work, Araki gives himself the opportunity to change the setting and the atmosphere from one part to another. While the anime adaptation available on Netflix has just completed the sixth part, the manga will conclude the eighth part in the summer of 2021 and a ninth part was announced in the blink of an eye.

Alongside this sketch, we also use an illustration in which we observe a rabbit wearing the main character’s face with the inscription “THE JOJO”. An indication of the protagonist’s power? Nothing is less safe. In any case, we should have answers quickly JOJOLands, whose release begins February 17, still on the pages of Ultra Jump. Given the longevity of the work, but also the age of its author (62), one wonders whether this ninth part would not be the last. Titled JOJOLands, the character of JoJo seems more central to the plot than ever, as a sort of reflection of the entire series. We’ll just have to wait and see what surprise Hirohiko Araki has in store for us.
