The release of The Last of Us Part I on PC has been quite surrounded by controversy, since it is a port that deserved better treatment due to the number of bugs or problems with which it was released. Despite this, the Naughty Dog team has been working non-stop on optimizing this version and it seems that we already have before us a free upgrade under conditions.
The company has announced that patch 1.1.0 is now available to download, about which it should be noted that occupies a total of 25 GB
In the patch notes we can read that Overall gameplay has been optimized to improve performance processor and graphics card at all times and in any situation. Likewise, the loading of the textures and the scenarios of this post-apocalyptic world has been improved, something that you can see in the following comparative video that shows the differences.
In addition, the patch is responsible for correcting a good number of errors that were causing crashes during the game, such as when using the Moto Foto, when playing with the graphics in Ultra or simply entering the options menu. This is in addition to many other corrections in various details of the adventure itself.
Another good news that this new update leaves us is that the game is already verified on Steam Deck. In turn, that means performance improvements have been made when playing on handheld, fixed issues that had been reported with buttons and fps drops.
It does not mean that this will be the last patch you receive The Last of Us: Parte Ibut at least it’s nice to know that, although it has taken time, Naughty Dog does not give up to give us a good version for PC.
