As expected, the new Stardew Valley update has been rolled out and it is another nice surprise. The developer doesn’t do things by halves.
We’re talking a lot about Stardew Valley at the moment. It’s a pleasant surprise for us too. The game recently came back into the spotlight with a huge update. 1.6 brought a lot of new features of all kinds, such as new objects or additional dialogs for NPCs. So the community was obviously there. And ConcernedApe has no intention of resting on its laurels. That’s why he released a new patch that doesn’t just implement fixes. It’s huge and now is definitely the best time to start.
Another new patch for Stardew Valley, it doesn’t stop!
Update 1.6.2 barely had time to release when 1.6.3 is already with us. Eric Barone understood the need to maintain this huge resurgence of interest in his cutesy title. Now let’s take a closer look at this new patch. Here and there we still notice necessary adjustments, such as a crash that might occur due to a recently introduced new festival. It’s hard to appreciate such an addition when our game crashed. There was also a problem with certain translations that can be quite annoying. At least that’s a thing of the past now.
But that’s probably not what most players care about. As you might expect, this new update includes some great new features. Let’s take a very simple example: there are now new cabins and you have the option to delete them (with a level 3 improvement). Additionally, harvesting moss now grants one experience point when foraging and you can access Clint’s shop while your tools are being repaired. It will make our lives easier.
The good news is that 1.6.3 will not be the last update for Stardew Valley. Far from being the same. Eric Barone said it himself: he won’t continue working on Haunted Chocolatier until version 1.6 of the game is released. “Flawless, on all available platforms”. We can imagine that this must be a complex task, so we should at least expect a 1.6.4. The advantage is that there is regular feedback from the community, so that even the smallest problems can be quickly remedied. All you have to do is discover all these changes.
