The next PS5 exclusive will be available this Friday, September 6, 2024, and it looks pretty crazy, but caution is advised if you plan on playing it.
Unfortunately for Sony Interactive Entertainment and Firewalk Studios, the absolute failure of Concord seems to be confirmed more and more. Even if we take it with a grain of salt, the game would have only sold around 25,000 copies on PS5… and PC. A disaster for this hero shooter that took eight years to develop. If the published figures are correct, the title’s fate is sealed, so to speak. Unless the developers react and decide to turn it into a free-to-play game to give it a second chance, for example.
Beware of spoilers for this highly anticipated PS5 exclusive
The video game releases of September 2024 will empty your wallet and consume all your free time. A flood of highly anticipated titles are waiting in the wings, including Final Fantasy 16 PC, Le Vaillant Petit Page (The Plucky Squire), Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster, The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, The Casting of Frank Stone and Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions or the next PS5 game Astro Bot
From what little we were able to try out during Summer Game Fest 2024, Astro Bot could well be a 3D platform/adventure nugget and live up to the previous games in the license. Normally scheduled for release on September 6, but some have already got their hands on it, as this shows Image of the physical version
Yes, there is no story to spoil in Astro Bot, but some may want to keep the surprise of the environments, the new powers or even the robots to collect in each level. In addition, a list of characters to take over was leaked a few days ago. This PS5 exclusive will be available in boxed and digital editions from Friday, and here is the launch trailer. But be careful, it inevitably spoils the scenery.
