Season 3 of House of the Dragon is a little slow to arrive, but the third major series in the Game of Thrones universe will start in 2025. It has the difficult-to-digest title A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms: The Hedge Knight and there’s already a first short teaser trailer.
Be warned, however: the emphasis here is on kurz
. The pre-released material is just seven seconds long, but still gives a solid first impression of the new series.
These are Dunk & Egg
First a little context to the story: A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms takes place around 100 years before Game of Thrones and revolves around the hedge knight Ser Duncan (Peter Claffey) and his squire Ei (Dexter Sol Ansell). What Dunk doesn’t know at first: Ei (in English Egg
as a nickname for Aegon) is secretly Prince Aegon Tarvaryen V!

By the way: Like Game of Thrones and Fire & Blood, George RR Martin has not yet finished the Hedge Knight novels. However, he plans to tackle them as soon as the 75-year-old author has finally finished writing The Winds of Winter. When that will happen is still up in the air.
