Astro Bot is coming soon to PS5 and it’s going to be big. The game promises to be particularly lavish and colossal on many levels. We didn’t expect that.
Announced with great fanfare at the last State of Play, the magnificent PS5 exclusive Astro Bot is eagerly awaited by an army of fans. After an Astro Playroom (installed directly on the PlayStation 5) was a huge success, Team Asobi is back in September with its little robot. Be careful though, expect an XXL game, we are far from the previous adventure.
Astro Bot is coming and will damage your PS5
A photo widely shared on social networks reveals the alleged cover of the game in Japanese version. We then learn The game will weigh no less than 66 GB, it is absolutely colossal and clearly unexpected. The next Astro Bot would therefore of course be almost six times bigger than Astro Playroom. Finally, it is getting closer to Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart. Although we’ll still be cautious until nothing is confirmed, it still seems that the next installment of the little robot will pull out all the stops.
A much bigger game than expected
An adventure that should clearly be more important than Playroom. The game is often seen as a simple demo game designed to sell the PS5 and the features of the DualSense 5. That’s not wrong either.
While the next Astro Bot promises to take full advantage of the DualSense and play with PlayStation mascots, promising more than a hundred cameos, it should be a truly unique game that will stand completely on its own. We are promised around 80 levels and plenty of bosses, but also entertaining gameplay and unique abilities will keep things varied and fun and give you a laugh.
We will soon know for sureAstro Bot will be released on PS5 on September 6th.
