To ensure that Indiana Jones and the Old Circle is the most beautiful love letter to the films there is, the studio has surrounded itself with the people best able to pay them a brilliant homage.
Since the announcement of Indiana Jones and the Ancient Circle, MachineGames has not missed an opportunity to preach its love for the original films. Adapting them into a game represents a ” Childhood dream comes true “. Expected on December 9 for PC, Xbox Series, Game Pass and in spring 2025 for PS5, Indiana Jones and the Ancient Circle certainly promises to be an unmissable event for fans of the films. We could even say that it is a new unofficial interactive film, since MachineGames wants to do justice to the iconic character played by Harrison Ford (and in the game by Troy Baker). To obtain the means to realize his childhood dream, the studio has obviously put all the odds on its side.

LucasFilm, and by extension George Lucas, but also Steven Spielberg, to whom we owe the original films, were ” constantly involved
As a reminder, Indiana Jones and the Ancient Circle takes place one year after the events of Raiders of the Lost Ark, the very first film released in 1981. MachineGames would have done a real archaeological job by delving into the archives carefully guarded by LucasFilm of the latter. The studio would then have discovered various elements that were never published, such as early concept drawings or photos from the filming. Everything therefore indicates that this will be the best video game adaptation of Indiana Jones to date. Final verdict on December 9 on Xbox and in the first half of 2025 on PS5.
