What does Capcom have in store for us next after reissuing three Resident Evil works? One possibility in particular is very tempting.
The Resident Evil 4 remake, released a month ago, was praised by the press and gamers alike. This was already the case with 2019’s iteration of Resident Evil 2, although its sequel was split. So it’s hard to imagine Capcom stopping there. But which title in the series needs a makeover now? Claire Redfield’s voice actress has a concrete idea!
One of the most popular Resident Evils is coming back soon?
Since the remake of the second opus, it’s actress Stephanie Panisello who lends her face to Claire Redfield in VO. She reprized her role in 2021 in the Netflix series Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness

If Stephanie Panisello’s enthusiasm is a delight, beware the general commotion. The actress reminds us that she has no say in Capcom’s decisions. And in October 2022, the studio had unfortunately declared that “No concrete plan” about a possible remake of Resident Evil: Code Veronica.
What will the next remake of the franchise be?
more Code Veronica is not the next episode of resident Evil remade what will it be? After all, Resident Evil 1 already had the right to a “Rebirth” version in 2002, although this has nothing to do with the horrific TPS that has been released since 2019. The fifth and sixth works are more recent, and the last one is not very popular. As for the “side games” of the franchise, none are as popular as Code Veronica. If there’s a remake, the priority should be Resident Evil 9 first anyway.
In the meantime, you can just reboot Resident Evil 4 ! The last major update fixed a whole host of issues, including some blocking bugs. Graphic improvements have also been made. On the other hand, removing a bug will greatly disappoint Speedrunner. But Capcom’s next big game is nothing more than a Monster Hunter. And this one will surprise you…
