DICE does not seem to be ready to show more of the Battlefield 2042 gameplay.
Battlefield 2042 So far, the pace of news has been fairly stable. It started with the correct reveal (and a lot of information) in June, and then the gameplay was checked for the first time a week later. Battlefield Portal, the second major experience of the game, was announced a few weeks later, maintaining its momentum.
Many people who are eager to see more game content hope that the next reveal will focus on certain aspects of gameplay. More importantly, show more than what we have seen so far. However, “Battlefield 2042” does not seem to have the next important moment this summer.
DICE today released a trailer for a short cosmic film about the fictional world of the game. This short film called Exodus pays special attention to the No-Pats (non-patriots) who constituted all the fighting forces in the world in 2042. They promised to temporarily allegiance to the United States or Russia, and they have fired for the last time they can get a seat.
Exodus will premiere on Thursday, August 12 (8 AM Pacific Time, 11 AM EST, 4 PM UK), but until then, DICE will share the location of Battlefield 2042 “Through the eyes of embedded journalist Kayvan Bechir”
Still, this is not what many of us would like to see, especially since most other battlefield games will release hours of gameplay at the same time as the pre-release schedule. In other words, gamescom is coming soon, so we might end up with something there.
“Battlefield 2042” will be released on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S on October 22.
