When Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Meet Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse
There’s a before and after of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, the late 2018 film directed by Peter Ramsey, Bob Persichetti and Rodney Rothman. It must be said that the animated feature film starring Miles Morales, Peter Parker’s successor, arrived in dark spaces with a unique visual that skillfully mixes 3D with a pencil style that refers directly to the world of comics. To mark the occasion, we’re entitled to a beautiful first trailer – punctuated by the music of A Tribe Called Quest – which shows us Leonardo, Raphaël, Donatello and Michelangelo, just teenagers training to be New York City’s greatest fighters, but above all, to be accepted by the world for who they are.
After years in the human world, the Turtle brothers set out to win the hearts of New Yorkers and be accepted as normal teenagers through heroic deeds. Their new friend April O’Neil helps them take on a mysterious crime syndicate, but they are overwhelmed by events when an army of mutants unfolds against them.

Note that the whole thing is directed by Seth Rogen (This Is The End, The Killing Interview!) and that we can count on the presence of a five-star cast: John Cena, Rose Byrne, Ice Cube, Jackie Chan, Giancarlo Esposito, Shamon Brown Jr. and Post Malone.
