In its latest financial report for the nine months ending January 31, 2023, Nintendo reported that it had sold 122.56 million Switch units.
General platform sales found the Switch to be the third-best-selling system of all time, behind the PS2 in first place with more than 155 million units sold, and the Nintendo DS in second place with 154 million units sold. In fourth place were the Game Boy and Game Boy Color handhelds (118.7 million), followed by the PS4 at fifth (117.2 million).
The Switch also sold more games than any other Nintendo product, with 994.3 million software sales, followed by the Nintendo DS at 958.8 million and the Wii software at 921.9 million.
Overall, as of January 31, 2023, Switch sales were 14.91 million units, of which OLED sales contributed 7.8 million units, standard version sales were 5.22 million units, and lite version sales were 2 million units.
