The new year is upon us, and fast. With it, we see various summaries and summaries of our year. Spotify Wrapped is over, and yesterday, PlayStation’s 2022 Wrap-Up arrived. However, at the same time, Nintendo also gave up its own annual summary- Nintendo Year in Review — For those of you who have been playing Switch this year.
2022 is a relatively great year for Nintendo. We got Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, selling more than ever, and Pokemon Legends: Arceus. The most important ones are Splatoon 3, Xenoblade Chronicles 3 and Bayonetta 3 (lots of threes). Let’s also not forget Kirby’s giant leap into 3D with Kirby and Forgotten Land.

The Nintendo Switch Year in Review details the games you’ve played this year, and how much time you’ve spent with them. You’ll see your most played games, the ones you played at launch, and even a nice reminder of the ones you’ve been returning to over the years. Of course, you can also share your recaps from here if you want to share your top games with friends.
Needless to say, I’ve played way too many Pokémon this year, with Legend: Arceus and Scarlet topping my list of most played Pokémon. After that, we had Stardew Valley, which I spent a ridiculous amount of time on. I have no regrets, though my concerns about the Pokemon series remain, no matter how much time I may have spent with them.
How’s your Nintendo Switch 2022 review? Are you playing too much Pokemon too, or is your time being spent elsewhere? let us know!
