Interstellar is without a doubt one of Christopher Nolan’s best films. With the incredible soundtrack by Hans Zimmer and the acting by Matthew McConaughey, the director did his best to deliver an epic sci-fi film and heartbreaking family drama. A widely acclaimed feature film. Will the filmmaker manage to do better with Oppenheimer? Judgment in July!
Gravity (June 2)
Next up is the stun in this sci-fi tunnel heaviness d’Alfonso Cuarón (Sons of Men, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban…). Matt Kowalsky’s (George Clooney) and engineer Ryan Stone’s (Sandra Bullock) final spaceflight, which should have been routine, ends up taking a disastrous turn for the duo. Looper (June 1)

2001: A Space Odyssey (June 23)
Utterly pompous for some, absolutely gorgeous for others, opinions on 2001: A Space Odyssey can be diametrically opposed. And even if we remain unimpressed by this 1968 spectacle, its status still cannot be debated. It is a key work of the 7th art and science fiction scene that still inspires directors today. What would Interstellar be if Stanley Kubrick hadn’t made this cult film? For Nolan, it’s an obvious reference.
Ghost in the Shell – Live Action Version (June 14)
If only the whole world hadn’t been kind to Rupert Sanders’ Ghost in the Shell Scarlett Johansson, the creator of the animated version, Mamoru Oshii, has a very different opinion. According to him, the filmmaker managed to own this great piece, and the actress who played Black Widow on the big screen exceeded Oshii-san’s expectations. “Rupert made the story his own. It is the most beautiful film ever made about this story. Rupert started with composition, colors and lighting. Medellin (June 2nd)
After his series MyCanal Validé about the world of rap, Franck Gastambide flew to Colombia to box in Medellín. An action comedy that tells the story of Brahim (Brahim Bouhlel), a YouTube newbie who is kidnapped by narcos. His friends Chafik (Anouar Toubali), Stan (Frank Gastambide) and Réda (Ramzy Bedia) will then do whatever they can to get him out of this mess. Exclusive to Amazon Prime Video.
Jack Ryan – Final Season (June 30)
The financial analyst, unable to travel to Yemen, is about to leave. Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan, another Amazon Originals series, is indeed about to end. The final season 4 will only have six episodes. Two will be available every Friday through July 14th. Obviously, the deputy director of the CIA will be confronted with a conspiracy on a large scale.
