The Outer Worlds is one of the great titles that came to our platforms at the end of last year. While preparing its release on Nintendo Switch, the Obsidian game is updated by correcting problems in the game, be they bugs or content users. One of the great complaints by the community was directed to the size of the texts of the game. Whether in the subtitles or simply in the information of the menus, inventory and others, The Outer Worlds has extremely small texts, something that players should be able to change.
Not only could the text size not be changed, but in a role-playing game of this style, menus are an essential part of the experience, making players with vision problems or just anyone who does not want to force their eyes have problems. After the large number of complaints and the promise that they would try to solve the problem, in Obsidian they have already developed the interface option to enlarge the text font.
It was Nate, one of the UI developers of The Outer Worlds who shared a Tweet in which he shows this new accessibility option, which allows to enlarge the game's text font in different grades, solving – finally – the problem. In addition, he has also published a few demonstrations of the changes.
I can finally say that I've spent the last 3 months getting FONT SCALING into @OuterWorlds! You can get your hands on it very soon! I'm about to drop some GIFs of my work in game! pic.twitter.com/oVweRmg6Bt

As we can read, the good of Nate has been working on this option for 3 months, which shows us the magnitude of the change and how, possibly, to introduce it during the development of the game could have delayed its launch or made that other parts of the game did not have enough attention. It is not known when this option will arrive in the form of an update to the game, but it seems that we will not have to wait long.
