Developer Techland provided us with more information about Aiden, the protagonist of “Dying Light 2: Remaining People” in a new video broadcast today at E3 2021.
Set in 2036, the game tells Aiden’s quest to find his sister in a hostile world full of monsters (also called zombies, in almost all other zombie novels). After the two underwent medical experiments when they were young, he was initially separated from his sister-a fire broke out and he managed to escape, but he has been feeling guilty for abandoning her ever since.

“Dying Light 2” was announced at E3 2018 and was originally planned to be released in the spring of 2020.
Techland recently responded to a very harsh report about the game’s troubled development and questionable studio culture, stating that the game is not in development hell. Although it would be nice to see some gameplay, at least the developer’s in-depth research proves that the title is actually alive.
The game will be released on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S on December 7, 2021.
