Bug or release date announced in advance? The Epic Games Store seems to have spilled the beans for the PC version of Uncharted Legacy of Thieves Collection.
We now know that Sony plans to step up its efforts to bring PlayStation games to PC. Uncharted Legacy of Thieves Collection is the next exclusive game to appear on these machines. And it seems we’re finally keeping the release date.
A release date for the Uncharted Legacy of Thieves Collection
The leak from Nvidia is confirmed day by day. In the very long list revealing future games that have s ince been revealed, the leak from the manufacturer’s database also hinted at a release of Uncharted Legacy of Thieves Collection by this summer. A slot that would have meant Sony would stop porting its latest releases to PC a year or more after their original launch. And that would ultimately be true.
The Epic Games Store apparently sold the wick before the hour in a blog post published this weekend. The makers of Fortnite list all the games coming to their platform this year. Uncharted Legacy of Thieves Collection is mentioned there and adorned with a PC release date visibly set for June 20, 2022.
Two games better than ever
The condition remains a must, however, as neither Sony nor Naughty Dog have made any official announcement. It may also be a bug, especially as SteamDB has hinted that the game would be out in July instead. However, a release this summer seems to bode well.
As a reminder, Uncharted Legacy of Thieves Collection includes Uncharted 4 and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy. Both works have been reworked to make the most of the PS5’s performance. We find there all the arguments of a remastering to next-gen, including 4K resolution, a frame rate that can jump up to 120 fps and reduced loading times. The DualSense is used there with haptic feedback, and that’s good as the PS5 controller has improved its support on PC. For its part, the franchise will officially resume service and a possible Uncharted 5 is in the pipeline with the Dogs.
