Sea of Thieves is far from having said the last word and the Rare Studio is still preparing some nice surprises for us for the end of the year celebrations. This is season 5.
Season 5 of Sea of Thieves lifts anchor and prepares the holiday season with dignity. That takes exactly one date December 2nd on Xbox Series, Xbox One, and PC. Indeed, at this moment you start the download and hostilities.
Full of novelties
Among the novelties we will notice Adding fireworks. What would December 31st be without its share of glowing explosions in the sky? The Merchant Alliance will be the main supplier and fireworks can be fired from your ship’s cannons.
This update from Sea of thieves is also an opportunity for the rare to add some more social interactions, with the ability to sit in chairs and sleep in beds to regain some life. Great novelty, you can now bury your treasures too (like a real pirate) come in danger and look for them later. Obviously, this trick will generate a map to help you find your way around. It will even be possible to share your cards with other players in the outposts … and have them stolen?
The new Sea of Thieves Pass
As always, a new season also means a new pass with a total of 100 levels that must be completed in order to unlock rewards. As in previous seasons, some of the rewards mentioned are accessible for free and the other part can only be unlocked by paying a few dollars, a thousand ports!
Aside from that, Sea of thieves will also have a lot of improvements that you can discover in the trailer above. Rowboats, for example, may have a cannon and the megaphone now allows you to chat with just your crew.
