The Paramount+ catalog will be enriched with new films and series this month April 2023. It’s less extensive than Netflix, Disney+, or Prime Video, but there’s something very heavy in that limited selection. Old content that almost everyone is familiar with, but also an entirely new program that might appeal to those nostalgic for Danny Zuko and Sandy Olsen.
If you are not a subscriber, there is currently a very advantageous offer that will end in a few days. The new April 2023 Paramount+ releases
In the last few hours, Paramount +, a totally independent platform but available through bouquets like Canal +’s, has updated its catalog with a major release on the small screen. This is the series Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies, like the movie starring John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John. A feature film that, like Dirty dancing (the version starring Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey) has become a pop culture reference. 45 years later, Sandy’s gang is back!
So much for the big news of the week, but there have been some very nice people since the beginning of the month. New releases in films and animated series. We start with an American-French production with one of the best works, if not the best, by Luc Besson. leon starring Jean Reno in the role of a hitman and Natalie Portman, a child who grows against his will in this risky environment. A classic with an actress who already had everything great.
Ensuite, on a shutter Island by Martin Scorsese with Leonardo DiCaprio. A thriller executed with a master’s hand and brilliantly interpreted, which knows how to play with the viewer to the end. Avoid researching it if you haven’t seen it, at the risk of spoiling yourself. The trilogy is there to relax and laugh in the best possible WTF atmosphere Scary movie which, among other things, parodies Wes Craven’s slasher franchise, Scream.

The April 2023 Paramount+ programs not to be missed
In addition to the already available Paramount+ innovations from April 2023, subscribers can (re)discover the icon at the end of the month Forrest Gump. One of Tom Hanks’ greatest roles, entrusted to him by Robert Zemeckis, the director of Back to the Future, Who tricked Roger Rabbit? etc.
More “adult” content, but the Paramount Plus line-up also has programs entirely for kids with the animated series Baby Shark or Peppa Pig. Older people can turn to Japanese anime and not just any. There are seasons of Hunter X Hunter, Naruto & Naruto Shippuden, and Assassination Classroom.

When a great actor (Leonardo DiCaprio) and a great director (Martin Scorsese) meet, things often flip and that has never been truer than with this duo. After aviator etc invadersthe two men found themselves on the same set shutter Island. A psychological thriller in which DiCaprio can have fun showing off the extent of his talent.

One of the patients, Rachel Solando, has mysteriously disappeared. How could the killer get out of a closed cell from the outside? Forrest Gump (April 19)
Another must see arriving April 19, 2023 the funny and moving Forrest Gump. The film with multiple Oscars, including Best Picture, won during the 1995 edition. Forrest Gump, a man with autistic disorders, will make his story and history by assuming multiple hats. That of a soldier during the Vietnam War, a table tennis or American football star who meets the President of the United States, John Fitzgerald Kennedy, or just being himself.
Scary Movie, Scary Movie 2 and Scary Movie 3 (available)
Essential franchises of the 2000s, the Scary movie always just one goal: With wacky films that parody or refer to other films that make people laugh as much as possible. As mentioned above, throughout the five episodes of the saga we could see distractions from Scream, from Remember last summer, sixth Sense, The Blair Witch Project, The ring, american cake and so many others. Comedies written by two of the Wayans brothers.

After being invited into the Bac’s compartments with One Piece, the series Naruto & Naruto Shippuden are available on Paramount+. Something that will keep you busy for quite a while as there are 720 episodes to watch in total. Two adaptations based on the volumes of the manga of the same name, one of the best-selling comics in the world, all origins combined with Asterix, One Piece or the adventures of Goku, Vegeta and the whole Dragon Ball clique.
