The launch of the PS5 Pro wasn’t great, and the ensuing internet buzz suggests the average PlayStation consumer doesn’t care too much, but here we are. (Really cool) The PS5 Pro 30th Anniversary Bundle sold out in seconds.
In the UK at least, the PlayStation 5 Pro 30th Anniversary Bundle went live at around 10am this morning for £960, but disappeared seconds later.

While we don’t know exactly how much stock will be available for purchase in the region, we do know that the PlayStation 5 Pro 30th Anniversary Edition will only be available for sale in 12,300 units worldwide, so naturally that means scalpers are already busy doing their thing. Their thing is trying to sell it for £5,000.
For those of you who are just learning about this bundle now, it includes the following:
- Limited edition PS5 Pro console with 2TB SSD, Wi-Fi 7 in regions that support the standard, and accompanying limited edition accessories – DualSense Wireless Controller, DualSense Edge Wireless Controller, DualSense Charging Station, and Optical Drive Cover (Optical Drive sold) separately).
- Vertical stand.
- Original PlayStation controller style cable connector housing.
- Four PlayStation-shaped cable ties.
- PlayStation stickers.
- Limited edition PlayStation poster (1 of 30 possible designs).
- PlayStation Paperclip.
The 30th Anniversary Collection includes individual controllers, items, and even a 30th Anniversary Edition of the regular PS5 Slim console, so if you’ve got the cash, you can still try your hand at picking up a nostalgic piece of modern hardware. Just don’t expect to find large bags online at a reasonable price.
We do think the PS5 Pro is a bit overpriced, and maybe it might be a good idea to consider a custom PC version in the same price range, but the full discussion is far more complicated than that, and we fully admit that the 30th Anniversary Edition PS5 Pro is pretty sexy, so hey, You do what you want with your hard earned money.
