The Walking Dead Saints and Sinners won’t just be friends with this news. The PSVR 2 upgrade won’t be free for everyone.
The Walking Dead Saints & Sinners will use this month’s release of the second opus to land on PSVR 2 as well. An upgrade of the PSVR version (PS4) is of course planned, but unfortunately not free for everyone. Not even for those who got the game through their PS Plus subscription.
The Walking Dead Saints and Sinners PSVR 2 update is free… but not for everyone
The Walking Dead Saints and Sinners 2 is coming soon with the first installment of the franchise, which will take the opportunity to offer a big update. PSVR 2 obliges, and therefore PS5, we are therefore talking about a port that requires a re-adaptation of controls to the novelties of the Sony helmet and its new controllers. So the improvements should be numerous, at least on paper. Like superior motion detection, new gameplay possibilities, graphical improvements and more.
Skydance relies on this argument to defend its decision to make the PSVR 2 update chargeable for players who bought the game in the standard edition. The same that PS Plus offered a long time ago. Owners of the Standard Edition of the game will then have to pay an additional $10 if they wish to port their game to PSVR 2.
Owners of the special Tourist Edition do not have to pay anything.
Suffice it to say that it is already being talked about on social networks. At the moment, Skydance does not seem to want to reconsider its positions for the time being.
The Walking Dead Saints and Sinners will be available on PSVR 2 from March 21st. The game will be available individually or in a bundle The Walking Dead Saints and Sinners: Chapter 2 – Vengeance.
Yes, I wrote the full name just for fun.
