The first major expansion Wrath of the Druids for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla now has an official release date. After the major Title Update 1.2.0 on March 18, 2021 brought numerous improvements and new features such as transmog into play, the first DLC will follow in mid-May.

That’s what Wrath of the Druids is all about
The first paid expansion takes Held or Heldin Eivor on a trip to Ireland. The aim here is to uncover the ancient and mysterious secrets of an ancient druid cult.
Specifically, that means: Eivor dives into the world of Gaelic myths and folklore, fights his way through cursed forests and has to gain influence with Gaelic kings. This is done by persecuting the members of the Druid cult and killing them.
Eivor is also conquering Irish ring fortresses and roaming the capital, Dublin. A first look at the new druid opponents can be seen in the following trailer:

When does Wrath of the Druids appear? The expansion is due on Thursday 13. May 2021

What does the DLC cost? If you buy the extension individually, it costs 25 dollars. However, it is also part of the Season Pass, which you can buy for 40 dollars. This also includes the expansion “The Siege of Paris”, which should appear in summer 2021 according to the official roadmap. The Season Pass is already included in the Gold Edition (100 dollars) and Ultimate Edition (120 dollars).

What else is new in AC Valhalla?
On March 18, the Ostara festival started in AC Valhallla: Here your settlement Ravensthorpe is festively decorated with colorful flowers and there are small mini-games to be completed, such as a hunt for Easter eggs. There are various rewards and cosmetic adjustments to get hold of.
The event will run until April 8, 2021. We have also analyzed the current status of the PC version and clarified why Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is a significantly better game than at the launch, but not yet there.
