After Netflix, Prime Video and Disney+, we are interested in all new Max releases from this Monday, October 28th to Sunday, November 3rd, 2024. Are there any new additions for Halloween? If you’ve already seen all the films, such as the must-see films The Exorcist and Poltergeist, unfortunately there won’t be anything left. But the Warner platform has already been putting horror films online all month long. Expect classics as well as a completely new series in the coming days.

Before Gladiator 2 hits theaters on November 13, 2024, the SVOD Max service plans to add the first Gladiator to its catalog. In fact, Ridley Scott’s cult film will be available from November 1st. But another peplum will also make its debut on the same day: Alexandre. A film by Oliver Stone (Born killers, Train…) with Colin Farrell in the role of Alexander the Great, Angelina Jolie, Anthony Hopkins, Rosario Dawson, Val Kilmer and Jared Leto.
In the new Max releases from October 28th to November 3rd, 2024, subscribers will also find the classic “The President’s Men”, some excerpts of which were already seen in the comedy “Le Grand Détournement: La Classe Amériqueine”. Series like Véra can also be found in the latest Max releases from October 2024. An adaptation of Scooby-Doo that now ends with season 2 because Warner didn’t want to finance season 3. The dramatic show Somebody Somewhere is also returning for a season 2. For relaxation, subscribers have access to three seasons of the sitcom Extras, starring English comedian Rickey Gervais.
As for real new releases, Max will be highlighting Chocolat Amer (Like Water for Chocolate) and Invincible Fight Girl in the first releases in November 2024. Adapted from the novel of the same name by Laura Esquivel and produced by Salma Hayek Pinault, Chocolat Amer explores how traditions can sometimes be an obstacle to love. Invincible Fight Girl is a lighter animated series in which a young girl, Andy, strives to become the best professional wrestler of all time.
