Remedy has shared a major update of the game currently running.
remedy The results of the first quarter of fiscal 2021 were disclosed. In addition to earnings news, Remedy also shared some early details, stating that it is now being completed using Control.
First of all, the first AAA game published and funded by Epic Games is about to go into full production. The project has not been officially revealed, it is said to be Alan Wake 2.
Remedy is developing another smaller-scale game that has been in full production at some point. The single player campaign for Crossfire X is nearing its end, and you will completely forget it, which is forgivable, and its goal is to be released sometime this year.
Then there is Vanguard, Remedy’s large free cooperative game project. The team has now “defined many core elements” and development is progressing smoothly. Vanguard is currently undergoing internal game testing, and Remedy will soon expand to external closed testing.
As for the control team, Remedy said that many of these developers have moved to work on all other projects within Remedy. As of the end of March, Remedy currently employs a total of 281 developers, who are distributed in these projects.
In February of this year, the developer raised 41.5 million dollars ($50.1 million) from private investors, which will be used to fund some of these projects and to better position the company’s self-published games.
As for when you can expect any of these games, Remedy said that most of its revenue will be in the second half of the year, although that may only be Crossfire X royalties.
