If, unfortunately, culture does not seem essential in our beautiful country, that does not mean that it has to die in its corner without interaction with the public. An initiative regarding our favorite entertainment was announced by the BnF. Start in a week.

The French National Library is organizing a series of meetings on digital interactive leisure from January 19th to May 4th. These video game meetings include three conferences and two game conferences where speakers provide comments. Due to the exceptional health situation, these events are only held online.

The first session, titled “From Wonder Boy Streets of Rage 4”, will take place on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 from 3pm to 5pm. Animated by the very passionate Marine MacqAs guests, she will have two members of the LizardCube studio: the equally passionate, talented and personable artistic director Ben Fiquet and the background supervisor Julien Nguyen-You.
Go behind the scenes of the conception of Wonder Boy: Dragon Trap and Streets of Fury 4! This session will be accompanied by a live digital painting session. It also features a focus on the Lizardcube studio’s art department and shows how to revive Japanese video game classics while staying true to their original spirit.

- Video game pioneers I meeting with the makers of Studio Silmarils on April 6th from 6pm to 8pm. (animated by Alice Dionnet)
- Game Conference – Bringing World War II: Call of Duty WWII and Battlefield V into play on May 4th from 6pm to 8pm. (moderated by Romain Vincent with Marjolaine Boutet, lecturer in contemporary history at the University of Picardy, and Rmi Cayatte, lecturer in information and communication science at the University of Toulouse 3)
