We are still recovering from how shocked the new trailer and the gameplay of the Resident Evil 4 remake that Capcom has published in the last few hours left us, with which we have been able to appreciate the significant change that the game has made in its graphic section, to the point of seeming like a totally new title.
However, there is nothing better than a comparative video to better appreciate the changes that have been applied. That’s where the channel comes in ElAnalistaDeBits with one of his very complete videos in which he places the original Resident Evil 4 face to face with this new version that will be released next year.
So we can see that Capcom has not limited itself to improving the entire visual section and nothing else. The scenarios will be more loaded with elements and will look even more realistic and some have even opted for different lighting, so that in the first stages of the adventure the action will take place at night with a darker aspect.
The same happens with one of the first houses, whose rooms will not be exactly the same and the same events will not take place. However, this case seems to be something punctual and that it will not be applied in the rest of the game, because in the first town there will be slight changes in the cinematics, although all major events will be respected.
Of course, when Capcom mentioned that he wanted to respect the original work, he meant it, because the most outstanding elements of the stage will still be present, but there will also be some new ones that can be destroyed or even areas that were previously not accessible. In turn, we can use part of the environments when fighting enemies, including the animals themselves.
In the gameplay we also find that it will no longer be necessary to access the inventory to change weapons, since here will be a quick access menu. In addition, the merchant will return with new weapons, upgrades, and a revamped menu. Of course, he will not be the only character that will be seen differently, because the comparison also shows us Ashley or Ada Wong, among others.
The icing on the cake is the sound section, because the previous voices of the Ganado have been left aside and now they have been localized completely in Spanish, something that undoubtedly makes more sense, despite the fact that more than one will miss some phrases of the most iconic.
If all this leaves you with even more desire to get the remake of Resident Evil 4, we remember that its different special editions can now be reserved with which you will receive a few gifts in return. A good way to prepare the ground for its launch on March 24, 2023 en PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S y PC.
