Would Microds have decided to shoot without warning? While the recent releases of XIII or Les Tuniques Bleues didn’t exactly have the expected success, the French publisher seems to have decided to lower its cards at the pace of a hectic gamer. After a 2D Beat’em in Astrix sauce and no less than four games from the famous Peyo comic have been unveiled, a very retro-semantic license emerges from the depths of the centuries.

After an original episode that took advantage of a certain visual proximity to Another World, the sequel to Fade to Black and an HD remake directed by Ubisoft in 2013, Flashback returns from the early 90s with the announcement of a new episode in due form.

Pocket baptism Flashback 2This sequel (finally) still leaves an immense aura of mystery that floats around Conrad B. Hart’s next adventure, however Microds has already made it clear that the main Paul Cuisset will be responsible again.
This new action / platform game is set to restart the space adventures of the famous adventurers on PC and consoles as early as 2022 without further details.
While you wait to find out if Flashback 2 will take over from Fade to Black or the first episode, Paul Cuisset did not fail to express his enthusiasm:
The development of Flashback 2 has long been a desire. I can’t wait for players to discover the rest of the adventures of Conrad B. Hart, a character who was created almost 30 years ago. With Microids we would like to honor ourselves to produce a sequel that will appeal to fans of the first episode. but also a new audience that is ready to dive into this futuristic universe.
