Atomic Heart and its high-flying battles
Atomic Heart was absent from the Gamescom 2022 conference and that might not be such a bad thing. He returns solo with an explosive, mouth-watering trailer. If the great atmosphere is felt – reminiscent of many games like Bioshock, System Shock, Metro or Stalker – the title stands out for its gameplay. Authentic gameplay that even pays attention to exiting the HUD.
The fights look ultra dynamic, violent and highly visual, with a character as adept at weaponry as with ranged powers, or in hand-to-hand combat with wires coming out of his hand to neutralize a robot.
Atomic Heart’s story explores an alternate version of the 1950s in a Soviet Union developing robotics and other advanced technologies during World War II. This world comes very close to our current ideals: a happy society where science is king, perfect cities full of green parks and beautiful sunny squares, a fully automated daily life, the desire to explore the stars… All this is within your reach and take take a moment to look at the dark side of this ideal world: what if all of this had already happened? Where would that lead?
Atomic Heart will typically be available on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC by the end of the year and once it launches on Xbox Game Pass.
