Electronic Arts and Maxis today announced that The Sims 4 Sustainable Life Expansion Pack will be released on June 5th for PC, Mac, PS4 and Xbox One.
The expansion pack introduces the new world Evergreen Harbor, in which the Sims directly influence the state of the environment with every decision. Not only can Sims produce their own electricity, but they can also use water collectors to produce their own water or grow food at home in a new vertical garden. They can also furnish their houses with refurbished furniture, dress completely with sustainable clothing made from recycled materials and even attach a living roof to add a splash of color. If you don't mind the stench, you can rummage in the dumpster for used objects and ingredients that can be converted into new items for the home with a little creativity.
Simmer go one step further and also make positive changes in their community by using the community's new voting board, which posts numerous neighborhood action plans every week. These include e.g. B. Encourage the installation of environmentally friendly objects, support green initiatives, create a community space where everyone can produce or plant something together, and even change the appearance of the neighborhood. Sims are also open to new careers: as construction planning engineers, they inspire others to protect the environment, while in their role as freelance manufacturers they fulfill orders for candles, sparkling juices, upcycling objects and more.
