Anyone who continues to play the long-running hit The Sims 4 will get fresh material again in the new week. Maxis will then make two new sets available.
In order to shorten the waiting time for The Sims 5, which is still years away, developer Maxis regularly offers new content and sets in the long-running hit The Sims 4 to keep players engaged. Next week it’s that time again and you can jump on two new sets.
Maxis, together with publisher Electronic Arts, has now announced that both the “Urban Mode Set” set and the “Party Accessories” add-on for The Sims 4 will be available on the PC platforms (EA App, Origin, Epic Games Store, Steam ), PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One will be available. In both cases, the release date is April 18, 2024, i.e. next Thursday!
As part of the “Urbane Mode Set” you can expect a collaboration with the multi-award-winning content creator and DE&I representative (Diversity, Equity & Inclusion) Danielle “Ebonix” Udogaranya. She has designed the new outfits with which you can style your Sims in fresh urban looks.
The “Party Accessory Set” is intended to give your Sims party that certain something with new festive decorations. Among other things, there are colorful streamers, smoke machines and a glittering disco ball to equip your in-game booth accordingly. You can view images from both sets in the gallery above.
The Sims 4 is available for PC, Mac, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S. The successor The Sims 5 is now in the works and could possibly have an open game world.
On February 29th, the new Crystal Creations accessory pack will be released for the long-running hit The Sims 4 – including a new Gemology skill.
