Horses are finally coming back to The Sims franchise, and with it comes a new Racecourse Expansion Pack Announcing the launch of The Sims 4, which will be July 20.
Rumors of equestrian events in The Sims 4 have been swirling for a while, but EA finally confirmed the news by sharing a new trailer detailing The Sims 4 Horse Ranch Expansion Pack. There will be a new American Western style world, mini goats and sheep (very cute), and of course, horses that you can raise and train on your own ranch.
The New World of Chestnut Ridge is a scenic piece of countryside perfect for Sims to build their own ranch, cabin, or cabin. This seems like a great addition for those who have dreamed of starting a farm in The Sims 4 and raising a variety of animals.
With that in mind, you’ll also be involved in the fun and ugly parts of caring for farm animals; you’ll have to clean up their mess, take care of them, and as a result, you’ll bond with them and make your hard work worthwhile. The animals you care for will also help you earn Simoleons; you can shear miniature sheep and milk miniature goats, then sell the fruits of their labor.
You can even hire a ranch help for some extra help when you tire of doing your own ranch work. Best of all, you can gallop into town on your favorite steed and see what your neighbors are up to. Chestnut Ridge features an equestrian park where Sims can train their horses, and a dance hall where you and your neighbors can relax.
There are also events like ranch parties (picnics) and ranch animal days where you can interact with your neighbor’s animals, not just your own! You can own your own horses by buying, saving and even breeding them, and they can also be customized.
I don’t know about you, but I’d definitely prefer to have horses in The Sims 4 than any young children. What do you think of the latest DLC for The Sims 4? yeah or hiss?
