Introduction to the new movie Sonic the Hedgehog 2 It seems to imply that this movie will follow the Sonic 3 game, and Robotnik and Knuckles will play important roles.
We already know that a sequel to the movie “Sonic the Hedgehog” is in development, but we are starting to get more information about what the movie will look like after it is released in April 2022.
Director Jeff Fowler and screenwriters Pat Casey and Josh Miller seem to draw inspiration from “Sonic 3” for the next game as The summary of the movie’s story. Discovered by Twitter user Ninja_Risu

The synopsis reads: “After settling in Green Hills, Sonic is ready to enjoy greater freedom. Tom and McGrady agreed to leave his home on vacation.”
“But when Dr. Robotnik came back, they left soon, this time with a new partner, Knuckles, looking for emeralds that could build and destroy civilization at the same time. Sonic teamed up with his old partner Tails and set foot on the search together. Emerald’s journey and then fall into the wrong hands.”
If you are familiar with the events of Sonic 3, then it should sound familiar. Will we see some other key elements of Sonic 3 (we really want to see “Death Egg”, it re mains to be seen), but it sounds like it is worthy of one of the most successful video game movies of all time follow up.
