the Steam Deck is a hit, followed by Elden Ring and Cyberpunk

As every week, the Steam charts show us what the 10 best sellers on the Valve Software platform were over the past week.

This week, the Steam charts have evolved quite a bit. We’re surprised to find that the best seller isn’t a game, it’s hardware. The Steam Deck is number one in the weekly ranking, although the delivery times are still very uncertain at the moment. This proves that this type of machine is very appealing to players, that they are willing to pay the price but also patiently put in the effort. Remember that whatever model you choose, if you place an order today, there will be no delivery before October. In second place we find Elden Ring. No wonder, since the From Software game has established itself as one of the hits of this first half.

The return of

Even more surprisingly, Cyberpunk 2077 climbs to the third step of the podium. A quick visit to the Steam Store lets us understand why. CD Projekt RED’s latest game gets a 50% discount, bringing the price down to $30. Therefore, with the latest updates that continue to improve the state of the game, players will be more easily tempted by the most anticipated game of 2020. The Chocolate Medal goes to LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, which also takes fifth place thanks to its Deluxe Edition. The title allows us to relive the events of the 9 films of the Skywalker saga and incidentally caught the attention of Camille who gave it a nice 8/10 in our columns.

We find hardware in sixth place with the Valve Index VR Kit. The fact that Steam players are buying the full kit lets us see that VR is still enjoying a nice hype even though the hype seems to have died down a bit. It is No Man’s Sky that takes seventh place. The Hello Games game is surfing with the arrival of the Outlaws update that has been attracting gamers. We can also see on Steam DB that the title currently has no less than 12,000 players.
