The weeks follow each other and look the same at the top of the charts. It is therefore always the Steam deck that leads the dance on the Valve Software platform, outperforming many games. It has to be said that despite some teething problems, this ultra-compact PC clearly won over the critics. We think in particular of the cooling system, which turns out to be very noisy. Many netizens are also suggesting DIY to narrow down the problem. Of course, if you’re advised against changing the airflow, note that Valve made some software adjustments to limit the problem. That said, don’t expect a miracle. A powerful chip in a small package is the recipe for cooling problems.
The Steam Deck Box
In second place on the charts we find Elden Ring, whose success has continued unabated over the weeks. From Software’s game continues to top the charts and it’s hard to see who can take its place in the coming weeks. The bronze medal goes to Rogue Legacy 2, which is using its first full week on the market (the game released on April 28) to climb the podium. With an average of 90% Metacritic and very positive reviews, do we finally have the challenger that can bring down the Elden Ring?
The place of honor this week is for Monster Hunter Rise. Yes, the game was released in January, but it might have had a little boost to climb up the charts. In fact, the game is currently on sale with a promotion of 50% ($29.99 instead of $59.99) for the classic version and even 53% in the deluxe version ($35.23 instead of $74.98). Finally, The STanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe completes the top 5. Released on April 27th, this version is a fresh take on the 2013 classic. Bigger, wider, and still just as twisted, The Stanley Parable Ultra Deluxe is largely based on the original game, but it might disappoint.
