One of the revelation games of this 2021 promises to be New World, one of Amazon’s biggest bets when it comes to entering the video game industry. The closed beta of the title has triumphed and it has created great expectations, generating a community that already yearns to re-immerse itself in its universe.
However, we will have to wait a little longer. Amazon Games has shared a message through the work’s Twitter account regretting that August 31 will no longer be the release date. The wait will last a few more weeks, until next September 28.

We are touched by the support New World has received from players around the world through the Closed Beta. During the Beta, more than a million adventures were played for more than 16 million hours in total. Thanks to your support, New World has become one of the most watched games on Twitch, and one of the most played on Steam. The passion and enthusiasm you have shown for New World validates the work we have put in over the past year, improving the game based on your feedback.
Along the way, you’ve provided us with a host of requests and feedback that will help us make New World even better. We want the launch of New World to be a smooth and fun experience for all players, and that means making some improvements based on what you came across during the Closed Beta. So we’re going to take a few extra weeks to fix bugs, improve stability, and polish the game. The new release date for New World is September 28, 2021.
It has not been an easy decision to make. We know it’s not the first time we’ve changed our release date in search of better quality, and it can be disappointing to wait a little longer. But we want to be sure that we deliver the highest quality game possible at launch. Thanks for your support and comments. We are listening to you. We will see you in Aeternum.

Now you know what to do: delete that date from the calendar and write down a new one. As they remember from the development team itself, this is not the first time they have delayed New World, this time being the fourth time.
Announced in 2016, the title will come only to PC, framed in the MMO genre mixing all kinds of civilizations and worlds. A few weeks ago it was news because there were several users who reported problems with your graphics cards while they played New World.
