Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – Definitive Edition It was destined to be a hit for all fans of the franchise. It was announced as a pack that included the improved versions of GTA III, San Andreas and Vice City. It was far from what we expected during its release and became an infamous edition. Since then, Rockstar has released updates to improve it.
After three years without big news, Rockstar Games just released an update which greatly improves the visual section of the three video games for consoles, PlayStation and Xbox, and PC. To be more specific, it adds an option to play with classic lighting… something that the mobile versions already had.
The visual improvements don’t end here. Rockstar has also adjusted other parameters such as fire effects, rain and fog, reflections and other lighting effects, and finally the animations have received a major overhaul. Some minor sections of the gameplay have also been retouched to polish the experience a little more.
The web Rockstar Intel has shared a comparison of each video game to appreciate the difference with said mode activated and deactivated (it is activated by default), left and right column respectively. The middle GamePro shows more comparisons. Although this update does not completely redeem this Definitive Edition, the truth is that it brings it a little closer to the nostalgic result that we expected three years ago.
