When you thought you were done with Skyrim, it’s still here. Bethesda apparently has a new port of their iconic game in the works, and this time it’s headed for the Switch.
Will you continue with another port of Skyrim? Already available on Nintendo Switch since November 2017, the RPG monument will soon return to the hybrid console. But this time in its ultimate version.
Skyrim Anniversary Edition could come to Switch
Bethesda is obviously not done with ports of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Now that the game is available on every platform possible and imaginable, the publisher is preparing to release the Anniversary Edition on Nintendo Switch, the only console not yet enjoying it.
As discovered from the website change brazil, the Taiwan classification body listed a Switch version of Skyrim Anniversary Edition on May 15, 2022 before quickly removing it. A manipulation that often portends an imminent announcement, and the Summer Game Fest 2022 celebrations seem like the perfect time to unveil this port in broad daylight.
As a reminder, Skyrim Anniversary Edition was released on November 11th on PC and PlayStation consoles, and on Xbox to celebrate the game’s 10th anniversary. This ultimate version comes with some bonus additions including a survival mode, a new quest, all DLCs and fishing.
