With The Valiant, strategy fans are treated to a new genre representative set in the Middle Ages. Now there is also a concrete release date.
Attention real-time strategy fans: With The Valiant you will have a new title in the genre of your choice in the fall. THQ Nordic announced the release date today – and it’s not that far off.
From October 19th, 2022 you will be able to plunge into the medieval battles on the PC. According to the makers, the focus of the game is on intensive and tactical battles, which are carried out by a small number of specialized squads. So you will look in vain for big mass battles like in other genre representatives.
At release, The Valiant will feature a 16-mission story campaign, a New Game+ mode, a cooperative Last Man Standing challenge, and a PvP part for up to four players.
A new trailer has also been released to coincide with the announcement, showing you the different landscapes in the game in more detail. You will travel to these during the campaign. From the scorching hot deserts of the Holy Land to the icy mountain peaks of the Alps, through the fertile grasslands of southern Germany to the massive fortifications of Italy, the heroes embark on a journey across Europe.
