Sometimes it doesn’t take much to get off to a good start in video game marketing. Sonic Frontiers apparently got things wrong. Explanations.
Sonic Frontiers certainly got things wrong. Instead of presenting the game coherently so that everyone can clearly understand the direction of the title, Sega was content with more sophisticated videos without really convincing even fans of the hedgehog.
A new video that will change everything for Sonic Frontiers?
Sega is visibly aware of the communication issue surrounding Sonic Frontiers and has just unveiled a video that changes “everything” and finally allows you to see what the title will be like. A gameplay video with a narrator. The title shows its ambitions and above all shows its full potential. A video that is supposed to have a calming effect and that already seems to be getting very positive feedback.
We’ve come a long way from the empty universe and atrocious lack of dynamics of the first videos. For example, a simple trailer can really change the way we look at a game. For the record, Sonic is expected out on November 8th for Nintendo Switch, PS5, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and PC. And here is the scenario:
The story begins when Sonic, Miles “Tails” Prower and Amy Rose are sucked into a wormhole and Sonic gets lost on a mysterious island, separate from Tails and Amy. An artificial intelligence guides the player as he tries to collect the Chaos Emeralds and find his friends.
