The Walking Dead – Daryl Dixon: The journey turns out to be longer than expected – Season 2 extension and new trailer

“The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon” reinvents “The Walking Dead” and takes a big step. Instead of the post-apocalyptic United States, what is arguably the least cosmopolitan character in the TWD franchise roams France.

Several clips have already appeared for the series, which will be released on AMC on September 10, 2023, but another trailer was released at San Diego Comic-Con. In addition, the series was immediately renewed for a second season!

In any case, Daryl will find new allies in France – but also numerous new enemies. He is to accompany the young Laurent on his journey through the country.

We also know from set pictures that Daryl will be meeting Carol, played by Melissa McBride, in season 2 of the spin-off!

In Germany, “The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon” will be released on MagentaTV. We will probably not see the series in this country quite as promptly as we are used to from TWD or “Fear the Walking Dead”. There is no German start date yet, but the spin-off should definitely come to the Telekom streaming service this year.

This year’s San Diego Comic-Con also featured exciting announcements for The Walking Dead: Rick & Michonne, The Walking Dead: Dead City, and the final episodes of Fear the Walking Dead.
