The Walking Dead season 10: episode 18 shows Daryl’s big secret – does it come to a falling out with SPOILER?

Episode 18 of “The Walking Dead“Season 10C begins with Carol and Daryl going on a foray together. Daryl wants to collect materials to repair the wall around Alexandria, while Carol wants to hunt. The mood between the two is tense.

Dog finds an abandoned cabin in the woods and leads Carol and Daryl there. Carol finds a hiding place under the loose floorboards of the hut and asks Daryl shocked if this is the place where “she” lived. We also quickly find out who “she” is. In flashbacks to the past, we see Daryl, who is brought to the same hut by a puppy, a young dog, in search of Rick.

There he kills a stray, but is immediately threatened by a woman with a gun. At first she ties him up, but in the end she lets Daryl go again. For months, Daryl visits the woman who at some point reveals that her name is Leah. It takes a long time for the two to trust each other and even start a relationship.

We learn that Leah was alone for a long time before she met Daryl. She used to live with a group, but had to flee a stray attack with a young boy whom she raised like her son from then on. But he too was bitten at some point and died. On the same day, Dog’s mother gave birth to Dog and she lived alone with the dogs from then on.

One day, however, Leah gives Daryl an ultimatum because he keeps disappearing for days looking for Rick. Either he keeps looking for Rick, goes to his family, whom he has been avoiding since Rick’s disappearance, or he chooses them.

Since Daryl is leaving, Leah thinks he decided against her and packs her things. When Daryl returns, all he finds is Dog. He leaves Leah a message and hides it along with supplies in the floor of the hall: he has chosen it and asks her to find him. Dog is Daryl’s loyal companion from then on.

Back in the present, the situation between Carol and Daryl comes to a head. He blames her for Connie’s disappearance and makes it clear to her that if she tries to run away again, he won’t stop her. Carol and Daryl’s friendship seems to have been destroyed.
