Before the upcoming 11th season of “The Walking Dead” Netzwelt lists 5 big questions that the final episodes of the zombie show have to answer.
In the not too distant future, namely on August 22, 2021, the popular zombie series “The Walking Dead” with the 11th and unfortunately also last season on the screens of the US channel AMC back. Issue 11 will certainly offer a lot of the unexpected and new from the land of the walking dead, but some storylines from the show’s past are still waiting to be resolved.
Here are 5 big questions that Season 11 of “The Walking Dead” should definitely answer …
1: can Maggie ever forgive Negan?
In the eyes of returnees Maggie (Lauren Cohan), former TWD villain Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) has never really changed for the better. The memory of the brutal murder of Glenn (Steven Yeun) in the infamous “Circle of Death” from the season 7 premiere weighs too heavily for them.
And Maggie was also excited about Negan’s current position in Alexandria in the bonus episode “Home Sweet Home“right up.
But could Negan rise again in Maggie’s favor in the coming episodes – for example by saving her son Hershel Jr. (Kien Michael Spiller) the life of Judith Grimes (Cailey Fleming)? If that doesn’t happen, “The Walking Dead” viewers can probably expect a lot of hatred and angry looks right up to the big series finale.
2: Will Connie be found again?
“The Walking Dead” fan favorite Connie (Lauren Ridloff) was little featured in the zombie series for a while. Her good friend Magna (Nadia Hilker) assumes that she was killed in the cave explosion from season 10, but TWD viewers saw Virgil (Kevin Carroll) find her.
Virgil kidnapped Michonne (Danai Gurira) in season 10 and he is really not to be trusted. So let’s hope he may have turned out for the better after all and brought Connie into a safe community.
Incidentally, there is also a long absence for Connie’s a very tangible explanation from the real world.
3: Will the mysterious Stephanie save Eugene and Co.?
Ezekiel (Khary Payton), Princess (Paola Lázaro), Yumiko (Eleanor Matsuura) and Eugene (Josh McDermitt) are held captive by the white-clad Commonwealth soldiers, like the bonus episode “Splinter“demonstrated.
But actually Eugene wanted to meet his mysterious radio acquaintance Stephanie. Will she possibly free the 4 trapped figures? Or was Eugene just being manipulated by her all along?
4: Will Daryl and Carol get along again?
In der Bonus-Episode “Diverged“there was an ice age between the two” The Walking Dead “fans Daryl (Norman Reedus) and Carol (Melissa McBride), but hardly a long-time TWD viewer can imagine that it will stay that way forever. They have way too much both finally went through 10 seasons of the zombie series together.
The Walking Dead Quiz: Are You Ready For The Zombies?
What was Beta’s job in his previous life?
Although we don’t know how Carol and Daryl will make up again, it is basically clear that it will happen. Because after all, that starts after the series of “The Walking Dead” ends “Carol/ Daryl”-Spin-off on AMC.
5: will Rick return?
A Rick question for season 11 should of course not be missing: Will the fan favorite turn up surprisingly for the series finale – possibly even with Michonne, who also recently disappeared from the main series, at his side?
That would be a wonderful end to the series for fans and long-time viewers – but everything here probably depends on the Rick Grimes-Filmen, the first of which has still not started filming due to corona delays.
So a series end without Rick’s return seems more likely at the moment – but you never know!
Those: Undead Walking.
