Will No Man’s Sky ever stop releasing free updates? Surely yes, but in the meantime we will continue to take advantage of the great work of the team led by Sean Murray. This time we get the patch that updates the work to the version 4.0receiving the name of Waypoint.
As usual, there’s a top-to-bottom review of quality of life, inventory, game modes, travel, and so much more. The patch notes
We can forget about having to save a game continuously, since Hello Games incorporates automatic saves if we prefer it. Regarding the commercial part, we can send a ship to dive into the galactic market to sell items automatically. The PC version also includes the juicy possibility to activate FSR 2.0
Inventory undergoes a revolution with visual changes to layouts, better management, filters, and increased capacity. We will also run into a Knowledge section, which will collect all the historical fragments and data of the universe that we find.
Finally, alien structures and beacons, as well as holograms, teleporters, and tractor beams have received a major visual upgrade. The Waypoint update is now available on all platforms for No Man’s Sky, including Nintendo Switch. On the Nintendo console we will be able to claim the Horizon Vector NX starship and the Infinite Neon Mark XXII multi-tool for free before November 7.
