If you consider yourself a big fan of The Witcher and consider yourself a more refined and respectable vacation than wandering around Amsterdam or other drunken cruises, take a quick trip to Italy The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Music from the Continent performance might be for you.
The show will take place at the Lucca Comics and Games Festival in Italy, where there will be a full symphony concert dedicated entirely to CD Projekt Red’s world-famous fantasy series. Once you’re done, there are other parts of an already beautiful country to explore, so you know there’s always an option to spend a fulfilling vacation in this country.
In fact, there are some impressive names behind the show that might blow your mind. The conductor of the night was Eimear Noone, a well-known figure in video game soundtracks who has been responsible for some of the biggest tracks in World of Warcraft, The Legend of Zelda, and more. She is also award-winning, her work has won a Hollywood Media Music Award, which is a big deal!
As for who will actually play the music, there will be musicians from Fiesole’s Giovanile Italiana Orchestra paired with Polish folk metal band Percival Schuttenbach. An Italian youth orchestra and a metal band, probably the most wizarding lineup I’ve ever heard.
It’s all in celebration of CD Projekt Red’s 20th anniversary, and you can see it for $30, or $59 if you’re a high roller.
Let us know below if you’re going to watch it live! If not, why don’t you tell us your favorite Witcher series tracks. There is no need to be excluded.
