Geralt is still a handsome man five years after the release of The Witcher 3. And his game doesn't look bad either. If you play the role playing game again after the hype about the Witcher series or for the first time: The Witcher 3 HD Reworked really pretties the adventure.
On March 12, the graphic mod for the role-playing hit in version 11.0 was released on Nexusmods – and revised countless new textures compared to previous iterations of the mod.
Toussaint in its most beautiful form
The mod gives you above all higher quality models and crisper textures for the environment. The water was also extremely polished.
You can see the difference in detail particularly well. Because even with smaller objects such as barrels, the number of polygons has been increased and a sharp texture ironed on.
The normal maps have also been adjusted so that walls and floors reflect realistic light and show a lot more details.
Not a big hardware hunger
The Witcher 3 HD Reworked has little or no impact on performance. The modder Halk Hogan PL states that there is a GTX 970 or AMD R9 280X no frame rate loss gives. The maximum frame rate loss is between 0 and 5 frames per second.
The graphics mod runs from 3GB VRAM, 4 GB is optimal.
You can find the installation guide directly on Nexusmods. The Witcher 3 HD Reworked seems a perfect excuse to go back to Toussaint and Co. with Geralt while dreaming of a The Witcher 4.
